Devious Journal Entry

I was googling my name the other day (aka. "vanity searching") and my devArt profile came up! So, I gave it a visit! I thought, ooh, let's see what new comments I've gotten. And, well... the answer to that is none, but I did find at least something of interest. What was seemingly just a random day of devArt nostalgia, turned out to be an anniversary of sorts! So marked by the "last visited 52w 11h 37m 52s ago" text, that day just happened to mark the one-year anniversary of my being away from deviantArt! (for those that still don't get it, 52 weeks makes up 364 days which makes up a year)

Sadly though, that's really all I care to say right now. I haven't any immediate plans to halt my streak (my streak of awayness, that is), but I thought I'd like to document my coincidence (since I'm a logging, documenting, obsessive-compulsive, pack-rat kinda guy). So, there, I did. And now, back to my away-dom.

  • Favourite poet or writer: Favourite poet would be my cousin, Fabrice. Favourite writer may be Orson Scott Card (Ender's Game).
  • Favourite photographer: Someone on here, most likely. In the future my name might be in this box.
  • Operating System: WinXP & Debian GNU/Linux ("sid")
  • MP3 player of choice: Winamp "5"
  • Shell of choice: stock Windows 2000
  • Wallpaper of choice: Anything beautiful that doesn't clash with the rest of my digital environment (currently Bjork)
  • Skin of choice: Anything sleek and free of complication. Extra points go to use of soothing gray and/or blue colors.
  • Favourite game: HerzogZwei. SonicCD,Contra,SoulCalibur,TRIBES,Quake1,BoF3 & EternalChampions:CotD all rocked tho
  • Favourite gaming platform: Candidates for this title would be my mind, my PC, and my missing Dreamcast -- the jury's still out.
  • Favourite cartoon character: Batman, from the original series springs to mind. Hmm... ooh, DW Duck! and Goliath from Gargoyles!
